Saddest Thing You Have Ever Seen.

That would be Molly right now. Poor girl has had a cold for a couple days and now it has turned into pink eye. She woke up this morning with the skin around her eye being a little red and I just thought she had rubbed it. After her morning nap it was crusty and really red around her eye. I called the doc and she said with all of her symptoms (cold, slight fever, red eye) that it was pink eye. So we got drops that we are supposed to put in both eyes 3 times a day. How do you put eye drops in a baby?!? I mean there is just no good way. The first time wasn't so bad. Homegirl was passed out and nothing was waking her up so we put them in while she was sleeping. The second time today didn't go as smoothly. You have to pin her down, pry open her crying eyes and be as fast as lightning putting those things in. It is for sure a 2 person job. She was a trooper for most of the day but the evening time was rough. Anyway - poor baby. And to top it all off she left a nice surprise for me in the bath.....so we had to take another bath. Cheers to tomorrow and a *crossing my fingers* a better baby.

Oh yeah and this is her 8 month birthday!!!!! Not a fun way for her to spend her 2/3 of a year old b-day. I will do her 8 mo post a little later - when she is feeling better.
