Family pictures

We once again took family photos this fall and I love them. I definitely want to keep this going every year because I love how it gets everyone in front of the camera which is seems to be a hard thing to do. Every one of these photos warms my little heart. The way she captured Molly is exactly how her personality is right now - full of life. These pictures were taken a couple weeks after we found out we were having twins so we were still in a little bit of shock....but let's be honest I am still in shock when I sit down and really think about it!

Molly's 3rd Birthday Party - Princess Style

So, because we don't know when these boys will make their debut but knowing the goal is Jan 18 (at 37 weeks) we decided to have Molly's birthday party early. So exactly a month early, on December 13, we had Molly's 3rd birthday party at Monkey Bizness which is a bounce house place. I definitely think it is safe to say she and the adults had a blast. We had 11 kiddos and about 30 adults. The theme was princess which is what she thinks she is. Although, she is convinced that is the three now and no longer two no matter what we say so we just roll with the punches and let her be three for an extra month. I can't believe she is three, my little baby. I can't go there yet - she still has another month to be two to me. :)
Happy 3rd Birthday party sweet girl.

Cutest cupcakes. My sister made the cupcakes and icing and my friend made the toppers.

Having some pizza.
Cheese.
She was a pro at blowing out her candles.
Clearly, everyone had a good time.
Yeah....that is Danny at the top.
Boxing anyone?
William and Pops enjoyed boucing as well
Maddie was just as much as a dare devil as Molly and loved the big slide.

30 weeks with twinnies

Don't mind my Costco pants but they are legit. Go buy some - seriously.
how far along? 30 weeks 2 days
how are you measuring? I was measured yesterday (Monday) at my regular OBs appt and I am measuring 41 weeks! Yep, you read that correctly.....and I still have 7-8 weeks left.
size of baby?  As of last Tuesday at the high risk appt A was 3lbs 7oz and B was 3lbs and 6oz.
heartbeat? At the appt yesterday A was 134 and B was 144
total weight gain/loss? I have gained about 35 pounds
maternity clothes? Basically I have 4 shirts that fit and 2 pairs of pants.
stretch marks? So depressing.
sleep? Still the same here - Not a lot. I am always tossing and turning. My calves and hips hurt so so so bad.
best moment this week? Just feeling them kick. It is truly amazing that I have 2 babies in my belly. As much as the strech marks stink growing babies is something amazing.
movement? These boys are strong!
food cravings? No but now that I can't eat everything when I want because of the diabetes it makes me angry. So I guess I crave basically everything i can't/shouldn't have.
gender predictions? still have 2 identical boys in there.
what i miss? sleep for sure. i think I will miss this for the next 2 years.
what I'm looking forward to? Has nothing to do with the twins but we are taking Molly to Santa's Wonderland on Thursday and I can't wait to see her reaction. She loves the lights in our neighborhood so I am sure she is going to be in awe.
how are you feeling? Pretty big. It is definately getting hard to move around.

Here is 30 weeks with Molly
Yeah....that shirt is definately too small.

Showered with Love

I was lucky enough to have a shower for these little boys. My sister and some of my best girlfriends threw me such a cute shower - totally pinterest worthy (despite my bad picture taking skills). I am truly blessed with all my friends and family that were willing to help celebrate these new additions. While I still feel a bit overwhelmed I know that I have great people that will be willing to help out when needed even it is just a text saying "you can do this". P.S. who knew boy stuff could be SO cute! Seriously. I forgot to take pics of all the ladies that attended. :(

Forever grateful for these friends and sister.

Blue cupcakes, sweet popcorn with blue sprinkles, tubs with captions saying like "boys will be boys".
Bow tie napkins......so cute!
The most delicious spread with gorgeous flowers!
Baby A and Baby B drinks
I should have collected phone numbers on these diapers for late night calls ;)

Fall Happenings 2014

Here are our fall happenings.

Dewberry Farms.
We visited here in mid October and had a great time despite the rain and the fact that later that day Molly got the stomach bug and was throwing up everywhere. Danny's parents were watching our nephew, William that weekend so they joined us and the kids had a blast.
"Mom, it is raining, why do you have me out here?!?"
All she wanted to do.....

Getting her face painted was the most exciting thing that has ever happened to her!

Riding on the cow train.

She did this slide about 596 times. To say she loved it was an understatement.

Of course we headed to the pumpkin patch to take a million pictures. She loved it, picking them up, putting them down, finding different ones, etc.
Loved the pumpkin patch, especially the little ones.
When did she get so big???!!!
We had a little family reunion with my mom's extended side of the family. It was so fun. There were lots of kiddos running around. Zoe had pumpkins for all the kids to decorate or carve, bounce house with a slide, seesaw, all kind of toys, horses everyone could feed and delish food. It was a great day - no naps but that didn't matter. All these kids went a mile a minute so there was no time for fussing.

These 3 cousins are three peas in a pod.
The whole fam.
Molly won a build a bear at her school fall festival this year so we decided to go stuff it on one of my days off. She loved it, thought it was so special and fun. Her favorite part was definitely pushing the pedal that puts the stuffing in and then putting in the heart (which includes twirling, making a wish, blowing on it, rubbing it on your heart and belly and finally kissing it). Of course in the end we ended up getting the princess dress so they can be twinsies.

Twirling with the heart.
Make a wish and blow.
Giving it a bath.
"Ahhhhh she looks just like me!"

This year for Halloween I knew I had to get a twirly dress because that is pretty much all she will wear. So, I went with a little 50's poodle skirt. She loved it and I loved it! Win, win. Danny's parents came over to man our house while we were trick or treating and Danny's brother and his wife and son came over to go around the neighborhood with us. The kids had a blast but didn't quite get that you collect all your candy and then eat it. It was more of I need the piece that each person is handing me right then and there. And, this was our first time to trick or treat because last year we were in Hawaii.

"Mom, why do you need 634 pictures of me in this outfit?"
Going to our first house.
Totally should have dressed Danny up!

Again, all she wanted to do.
CHEESE!
In case there were any fires we were safe with our little fireman.
