Our life in pictures

We have been busy just having family time. The past two weekends we haven't had anything planned and it has been so nice! Here are some pics to show you what we do on the weekends. :)

Daddy, let me show you how to walk the dogs.

This dragonfly is pretty good, you need a taste?

I am only 5 months old and pretty much know how to play the trombone...yep, that sounds about right.

Hey mom!

Hey, don't laugh at me!

Big smile!

You are so silly...

Can you find me?

My mommy is just so comfortable.

Mom, I think you put my shoes on the wrong feet.

What?!? I didn't do anything

Hey, mom! Put that phone down and come play with me

I blow bubbles like this ALL.DAY.LONG! It is one of my favorite things to do!

Sing with me now....

Just hanging out with my daddy

Snuggling with my lovey

Apparently Harli thought that my pool was meant for her!

I just had so much to say on the way to the lake.

Father's Day

I know this is a little late but better late than never, right?!?

Danny got to celebrate Father's Day for the first time ever. We started out by letting daddy sleep in while mommy and Molly made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and this wasn't biscuik people - I really made them along with homade honey cinnamon butter. You can just start calling me Betty Crocker. :) After breakfast we headed to church for a great sermon and then spent the whole day doing whatever we wanted. It was a great family day! Molly was pretty proud of her present so here are some pictures.

I can't believe mommy is letting me get this dirty!

This was my first date with my boyfriend.

The finished product!

I had such a fun day with daddy!

5 Months!

Aye yi yi, Molly, Molly, Molly - slow down! Your 5 month old birthday was yesterday and you had a great day at Vacation Bible School in the morning and then came home to hang out with Lolli then got lots of lovin from mommy and daddy after work. Here are some things you are doing these days:

• I can see you getting smarter. You are grabbing new things on your excersaucer and figuring out how to get the toy that you want on the floor, etc.
• You give us BIG smiles all the time.
• You are a little wiggle worm. It takes skill on our part now to strap on a diaper as quick as we can before you wiggle off that changing table.
• You were waking up 2 times a night for most of the month but the past 4 nights you have only woken up once per night which is nice because that means mommy and daddy get a full night sleep every other night.
• You are still wearing size 2 diapers but I am guessing after we run out of what we have you will move up to size 3.
• You are wearing 6-9 month clothing now.
• You have mastered blowing bubbles! You do it all the time and are really good at it.
• You are one little rolly poly. You are all over the place when we put you on the floor. You are tucking your knees up under your body while you are on the floor so I am guessing that crawling is not far behind.
• You are starting to grow a lot more hair. Your duck feathers are getting really long and your bald spot is slowly starting to grow in.
• You sleep on your belly now all the time.
• You recently started eating rice cereal everyday. You help me every time I fed you. You grab the spoon and help me put it in your mouth. It’s so cute!
• You drink four to five 6oz bottles a day.
• You aren’t quite sitting up by yourself yet but you will soon. You can get your balance if you lean forward and put your hands on the floor.

Molly Grace! You have changed our lives forever and for the better. You make me smile everyday. I love you my little girl.

Here are some outtakes because I just can't resist.

Hey! There's daddy...

What, you can't do this?

Oh daddy, don't be silly

Woah, what is that stuff on your face?

Oh Inks Lake

How I love thee. I always look forward to those 4 glorious days every year where we get together with family and just relax. This year we added a baby to the mix. It wasn’t as relaxing as years past but it was just as much fun! Things always seem better when you have a baby smiling back at you. We did everything from water skiing, napping, laying out, kayaking, swimming, fishing, playing games and so much more. I almost forgot – we did a lot of eating! Oh and we had a fireworks show from a wedding that was across the lake. It was great to just hang out with the family, not worry about the outside world and just live in the moment.

First things first, gotta get in the water

Molly - let me see your teeth

It is hard to tell if Molly has teeth peaking through or not. She drools like a champ but when I look in her mouth I don't see any pearly whites. It is a little difficult to look in her mouth because everytime I pull her bottom lip down or try and open her mouth her tongue just has to come out! It is quite humorous.
