This past weekend was really busy and a lot of fun! It started Friday where we made the trek to Ft. Worth to stay with my grandparents. Molly did pretty well on the way up there, no major crying sessions but we did get a little fussy.
Once we got there Molly had a little suprise waiting for her. My grandparents got her a swing and she loved it! She would have stayed in there all night if it were up to her. She just loves being outside and feeling the breeze flow through her duck feathers. If she is ever unhappy all you have to do is take her outside and she will calm down. It has some sort of magical powers.
Saturday, we hung out, napped, bathed the dogs and swang (or is it swung - I don't know). Later in the evening we went to my cousins wedding where she looked absolutely stunning! To put icing on the cake we actually got to stay at the reception for a while because Molly did so well. Her bedtime is 7:30pm so I figured we would make it to the reception, she would get fussy and we would leave right away. Well, we got to the reception and Molly was all smiles. She really didn't get fussy at all. Finally at 10:15pm she started to to get in her comatose state so we took that as our queue to head out before a possible melt down ensued. And then of course it took all of 2 seconds for her to fall asleep once we were in the car. It was great and I was so happy we got to stay as long as we did!
Sunday we had a delicious brunch where we got to hang out with more family. Then, after it was all said and done we made the trek back home and you can see how Molly felt about leaving everyone.
Monday, Memorial Day, we went over to our friend's house to do a little grillin. Kelly's little girl is about 4 weeks younger than Molly so they are destined to be bffs. We met some new friends while there and you can see the major difference in size. Molly 4.5 months, Rayleigh 5 days younger than Molly, little Tatum 4 weeks younger than Molly. You can tell we don't miss too many meals around here. :)
Of course we can't forget the ones who have served our country on this special day. Danny and I both had grandfathers that served in WWII. A special thank you to those men and women.
P.S. Molly is a little rolly poly. She just rolls anywhere she pleases.
